Head Rat Arafat is cozying up to the West again, distancing himself in the Western media from al qaeda. Whaddya mean, you are doing these terrorist things in support of Palestinians? Stop that, stop that right now (wink wink, nudge nudge...). The non-story story is here.

Since the story appears in the New York Times, it includes this bit that says more than was likely intended:

Since the Sept. 11 attacks, Palestinian leaders have parried any attempts to link their fight against Israel with Al Qaeda's cause, out of worry about losing international support.

Yes, out of worry about losing international support. Not because al qaeda are evildoers. It brings to mind the pictures of Palestinians celebrating the 9-11 atrocities, just as they cheered Saddam Hussein on during the Gulf War.

Palestinians do not deserve a state; they deserve permanent exile, all of them, perhaps to the Empty Quarter in the Saudi Sand Box.
