"uprising for independence"

Reuters scores again, in its quest for extreme moral relativism. This time, in reporting on an Israeli incursion to excise (as in tumor; not tax) Palestinian terrorists, this terror-friendly news service goes full bore. Consider this from the story:
...root out militants responsible for attacks on troops in Gaza in a more than two-year-old Palestinian uprising for independence.

Makes the terrorists sound like a bunch of George Washingtons; patriots, merely fighting for their "independence".

Well, consider this, those who think in such a fuzzy manner: If Yessir-that's-my-suicide-martyr-Arafat had not started this new round of terror after refusing the granting of independence in 2000 (and likely a better deal than the Paleos will ever get now), then none of those terrorists (yes, including the "teacher" and the UN janitor; Coughing Annan could take his place, although probably not do as good a job...) would have had to die today.
