Well, Iraq is now sinking to the barbaric level of the Paleostinians -- using human shields against a militarily superior foe. From this story by Reuters:

An Iraqi official said Arab and European volunteers would arrive soon to act as human shields to guard vital and strategic installations from U.S. attacks.

This, apparently, was done before, during Clintonian pecks at Iraq in 1998.

Here's an unsolicited advisory to any "Arab and European volunteers" who may be duped into fronting for Saddam's thugocracy: Make sure your life insurance policies are fully paid, and check to see if suicide is an acceptable death.
