Ya gotta love Mr. Peanut, our peacemaking ex-prez, Jimmy Carter. He's reported now as being in Oslo, Norway, to accept his Order of Lenin (oops - editorial advisor says, actually, it is now called the "Nobel Peace Prize"). Mr. Carter is reported to say about the unpleasentness-that-might-come in Iraq, that "his support of President Bush is solid, provided he keeps working through the United Nations and weapons inspectors for a solution in Iraq".

So, basically, Carter trusts the UN more than he trusts his President. No surprise there, from the "peacemaker" who brought us that raging success in North Korea. Oh, and he's "disappointed" that his successors as President did not "capitalize" on the Israeli-Egyptian "peace", as if an almost total Arab refusal to have normal relations with Israel did not have a thing to do with it.
